	How Do I Check for Engine Codes?

Solution Reading & Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
This menu allows you to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes found in the vehicle PCM. This menu also allows you to read the vehicle strategy for custom tuning. If a "Check Engine" light or Service light appears on your dash, you can check and clear the codes, which should reset the PCM and remove the check engine or service light.

For the X3/SF3
From the Main Menu, Navigate to the "Vehicle Info" Icon and Press "Select".

Reading DTC Codes
To read the vehicle's DTC's, enter the sub-menu "Read DTC" and wait for the on-screen prompt to turn key on. Press Select to start the process.

Clearing DTC Codes
To clear any vehicle's DTC's, enter the sub-menu "Clear DTC" and wait for the on-screen prompt to turn key on. Press Select to start the process.

Reading Vehicle Strategy
To read the vehicle's strategy, enter the sub-menu "Vehicle Info" and wait for the on-screen prompt to turn key on. Press Select to star the process.

For the Livewire
From the Main Menu scroll the Jog Wheel to the check engine icon, and push the jog wheel to enter the Dianostic Trouble Code Sub Menu.

Reading DTC Codes
To read the vehicle's DTC's, enter the sub-menu and wait for the on-screen prompt to turn the ignition key on. Push the Jog Wheel to start the process.

Clearing DTC Codes
To clear any vehicle's DTC's, enter the sub-menu and wait for the on-screen prompt to turn the igniton key on. Push the Jog Whell to start the process.

Reading Vehicle Strategy
To read the vehicle's strategy, enter the sub-menu and wait for the on-screen prompt to turn the igniton key on. Push the Jog Whell to start the process.
